Job Description
Location: Nairobi / Mombasa/ Nanyuki/ Nakuru/Kisumu/ Eldoret.
Industry: Alcohol (Wines and Spirits)
Responsibilities:
As a Wines and Spirits Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with current clients (outlets) while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Identifying avenues for growth and extending market reach.
- Championing our portfolio of premium international wine and spirits brands.
2. Market Insights:
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Providing insightful feedback to the team on market dynamics.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensuring outstanding customer service through prompt response to inquiries, swift issue resolution, and timely deliveries.
4. Sales Targets:
- Exceeding sales targets set by the organization.
5. Reporting:
- Compiling regular sales reports and performance analyses.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably within the alcohol industry.
- Product Knowledge: Essential familiarity with wines and spirits.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in effective negotiation with clients.
- Valid Driver’s License: Mandatory for travel within Kenya.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated history of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
- Passion for the wine and spirits domain.
- Capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Kenya, including upcountry regions.
