Purchase Requisitions:

  • Receive purchase requisitions/indents from various departments.
  • Understand the requirements in terms of timeliness, quality, and quantity of materials/services needed.

Quotations and Approvals:

  • Invite quotations from various suppliers.
  • Upload various quotations in SAP.
  • Prepare the best buy case and present it for necessary approvals from management.

Order Processing:

  • Prepare LPO in SAP and, after necessary approvals, print and send to the supplier.
  • Ensure suppliers deliver the requisite materials to the office within the agreed time and of the agreed quantity/quality.

Inventory Management:

  • Keep records and track stock levels (Min/Max) of various materials/services required.
  • Liaise with stores for GRPOs, match supplier invoices with LPO, and provide a complete set of procurement documents to finance for payment processing.

Market Intelligence:

  • Gather and present market intelligence on various items purchased and used.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management.

Asset Management:

  • Track services required for all assets, including vehicle inspections, electricity bills, water bills, vehicle fueling, vehicle services, air conditioner services, and machinery AMCs.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with ISO/BRC & 5S Standards requirements in the workplace and area of operations.

Qualifications:

  • Any Commercial Degree (B Com) or in Procurement

Industry:

  • Plastic and Paper Packaging and Food Service Products

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Location: Road A Industrial Area, Nairobi, Kenya

Age: 30 to 35 Years
