Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and control strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, providing valuable insights into our financial performance.
• Generate detailed departmental and business unit budget variance reports to track and analyze deviations from targets.
• Conduct thorough analysis of revenue and profitability across various dimensions, such as by product, customer, and profit center, to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate trends in operational costs and expenses, collaborating with departmental heads and management to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and compare them to standard costs, providing regular reports on production expenses and variances.
• Oversee the reconciliation of manufacturing variances and yields, offering monthly analysis and interpretation of cost variances.
• Produce comprehensive cost reports for manufacturing, identifying key overspending areas and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA(K), ACCA, CIMA) and registered with ICPAK.
• Proficiency in any ERP system.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in management accounting or cost accounting in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Strong decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret finance data and make strategic decisions.
