We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager with expertise in bookkeeping to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.


  1. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by reviewing transactions and reconciling accounts regularly.
  3. Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
  4. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgetary targets and provide recommendations for improvement.
  7. Assist with audits and regulatory compliance requirements as needed.
  8. Stay updated on relevant accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.
  9. Monitor inventory movement and reconcile physical inventory counts with recorded amounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  10. Implement and maintain procedures for tracking inventory levels, including conducting regular stock takes and adjusting inventory records as necessary.
  11. Calculate and update product costs based on inventory purchases, production costs, and other relevant expenses.
  12. Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory transactions.
  13. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while meeting operational needs.
  14. Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
  15. Provide support during inventory audits by preparing relevant documentation and assisting auditors in verifying inventory records.
  16. Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in inventory management systems to recommend improvements and enhancements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience 5years plus in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting softwares.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
